| Pay hike for Foxy |
The Lost star has inked a new deal that gives him a 50 percent raise, bringing his salary to an estimated $225,000 per episode, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The 42-year-old Fox, who plays the hit ABC drama's reluctant hero, Dr. Jack Shephard, previously earned about $150,000 for each Lost segment aired. But his reps had quietly been negotiating a sizeable bump with producers that paid off in this week's pact.
A publicist for the drama declined to comment, but an insider close to th ... |
| The last film you watched.... |
I thought we already had a thread for this, but apparently we don't! So, what was the last film you watched? Was it excellent or did it suck?
Last night I watched Shrooms - about a group of US college kids who go all the way to Ireland to trip out on magic mushrooms (I'm sure they have them in America..) but inevitably a couple of bad trips later and there's all kinds of B-movie chaos happening.
Not a bad film, apart from some terrible Irish accents and an eyebrow raising portrayal of the ... |

Anyone interested?
I like the short races (100m, 200m) and stuff like the high jump and long jump, don't have the patience to watch the longer ones.
Then there's the whole scandal over China's human rights abuses, though I think if that's such a big issue to so many people they should have protested more about Beijing being given the Olympics in the first place. That said, what China does in Tibet and to its own people is disgraceful. it's not the athlete's fault though.
Might watch a ... |

One of the worst films I've ever seen! It's one of those handheld-camera, pretending to be a documentary type things which I don't normally go for anyway, but this was truly awful!
Basically the plot: four people - two couples who are only going out a few weeks - decide to go off looking for this guy who disappeared in Papua New Guinea in the sixties. All four are a bunch of clueless idiots. They fall out with each other a lot and are surrounded by cannibal tribes. You can guess the re ... |

TV's Lost audience 'will be lost' (from the BBC website)
Viewers of the fifth series of Lost will not know where or when the action is set, the show's producers have said.
Talking at arts and comic book convention Comic-Con, they revealed they would play around with the show's flash-back and flash-forward formula.
Executive producer Carlton Cuse said: "We have something new this year. We're going to mix it up."
Lost, which centres on ... |

| Just seen this today. It was alright. My mate was giggling away like a lunatic through the whole film! Not much Jackie Chan at all, he had hardly any lines! |
